Richardson play his wife Sybil.
The 90-minute TV film will be broadcast as part of BBC One's season of classic adaptations of 20th century works. The play, set in 1912, has previously been adapted as a feature film in 1954 starring Alistair Sim and as a BBC mini-series in 1982 starring Bernard Hepton.
