The Living And The Dead is a new six-part supernatural series written by
Ashley Pharoah and Matthew Graham, co-creators and writers of Life On Mars and
Ashes To Ashes. The series will air on BBC One in the UK, and BBC America in the USA, probably in early 2016.
The drama is set in during the late Victorian era and focusses on a young couple, Nathan and Charlotte Appleby, who inherit a farm in isolated rural Somerset. Their presence in the area seems to unleash strange supernatural phenomena.
Nathan is played by Colin Morgan (star of Merlin and Humans) and Charlotte by Charlotte Spencer (from E4's Glue).
